Don’t worry, we left all the turrets behind and even did some “remodeling” for you. There is more than enough left (if you scrap the turrets) for you to get started again if this was your main base. And thank you for giving people something fun to fight.
With offline protection no longer a thing, you should really put some turrets inside such a nice base. 
PS: We where just looking for random bases to raid and where not looking for anyone in particular as we didn’t think anyone would have anything major on a planet, then we found the base and lost 2.5 ships trying to take this beast of a base.
