What happened: If offline protection does not turn on until all members of an alliance are off line, then then I hope everyone in the alliance will get the warnings for all bases in the alliance. I am not sure if this has been address else where yet.

Yeah this is a really important point:
Basically If Alliances are to share OLP (a measure which has my full support) then this needs to happen also; the proximity warnings should be shared also so we can be aware of when allied structures under attack.
Although some may find the warnings annoying, my reply to that would be that it is another factor that may discourage massive alliances (which can be a good thing).
Finally if we could get Eleon to make the warning notice toggleable for our less PVP inclined members then that’d be awesome also.
