We need to be sure here that we are talking ALL about the SAME config. I hate talking about theoretical legacy stuff.
And to you and your crew: it’s nice you want to contribute but if you share your config 1-2 days before release we can’t take care of. This is one of the biggest thing ever and the sooner the better. We need to test it before.
Please hurry a bit.

Test from latest config file (MK-10). 40 Plasma. Fps drop from 75 to 62-63. So watch the video.

Im using 5 HVs each 20 turrets, we should use same. Result will be different on different pc but no matter what amount of block healt updates wont change.

try 5 of these if you interested, i wonder what you will see. Im in SP Creativ, not on server. When i did plasmas i delete them and spawned minigun ones. its those and BA im shooting at on Omicron

100 plasma turrets? It is 25 HV’s? Never see 25 HV in the PVP combat. Just try in on default version. Default HV plasha have 0.6 ROF (every 0.6 sec it shoot) My lates config with full SV weapons rebalance and etc have a 2.0 ROF for plasma - One shoot every 2 sec.

p.s. Lets be more realictic. Even in the old versions 100 turrets can kill the perfomance. And what you waiting now? With all new graphics.

I guess it’s a mess with the file and non-stop updates.

I have uploaded the latest version again in the #105 post but keep the latest always on the official EXP server for testing.

Until I don’t see real contribution it does not make sense to share the file all the time.

Ok for last time, Im trying to show you that same amount of miniguns even with larger ROF takes less performance than plasmas and i think its because of amount of blocks which needs to be updated, their health.

and if i had right config which seems like it its roughly 4x more for plasma if its hitting blocks with whole splash.

Point behing this all is to create some scale performance wise. Most demanding to less:

1.No of turrets
2. Splash
3. ROF

I would say…but guys i dont know, i dont feel liek im eager to continue in this…

Elfias you are the wrong. Belive me. You do not research the config and some ammo characteristic and make some conclusion. Yeah Rail Pulse Minimi deal 0 AOE. And yeah it is less laggy. But all other weapon do it. And with out it we cant fight. Or you want kill sv 1 block to 1 block? AND WHY YOU ALWAYS REMMEMBER IT MINIGUNS?? IT IS BUGGET WEAPON. In my config you can kill only spiders by it.

I feel like Im only one who has problem with game having 3fps. Rexxx its not that important if you fiddle with dmg here and there.

Ppl dont want to play because HV is doing that and that dmg, we all leaving as we cant play even unbalanced game, we have 3 fps, we can aim in SV etc, it freezes///bla bla bla

So I was hoping that now when we can set stuff first aim will be on making us able to play. And then balance.

And what im pointing out here is that once weapon has splash it created much more dmg calculations so it will probably work even worse and also it is working worse for me, at least plasma.

So conclusion is that leave splash as it is in vanilla or lower it and fiddle with other values. I honestly was more liek expecting someone will repeat what i did and confirm it or deny than this shitstorm.

AMD 8750 - this is probably weak part, but it doesnt go over 50% which is interesting
16 GB but only DDR3 but its some high fq Kingston
Intel SSD

Dont feel like its potato yet.

Please make your config. To kill all this lags! I will be happy - I’am serious. I waste more than 20 hours (and it is not big amount of time - because i have big experience from SE modding otherwise i need one week for it) for it. And i hate the mods (yeah i like original set-up) and i cant make 10 different set-ups. I cant test all avaliable set-up’s.

I tell one more time. I make only - more strong BA’s balance and REPAIR sv weapons (now it shoot in space) balanced CV to BA to SV to HV. And reduce OVERAL ROF by 2 BUT keep the avaliable damage. Because we do not want have more LONG battles - yeah?

P.S. So please make something another. If you see the problem - try to solved it.

No need to be upset/defensive. I agree and kinda like with changes you made. Problem i see is that it repairs balance, but feels like its even worse performance wise, in some areas as this what i did is terribly small part and done only on one PC.

Im here just trying to help and say its all nice but we shouldnt go for larger splash, ROF is clear at least that is without argue lower = better.

But noone can say how it whole will work unless its tested as whole, probably on Experimental, quite similar battle as we have on GG. If we will see its not any improvment (performance wise as balnce wise clearly is) we will ahve to do something to make it perform better.

Also for example Achiless wants more weapons even, i dont thing its good idea, we should aim on less weapons and increase their dmg and hp etc to compensate it.

I see tests with 40 turrets… in a real fight there will be 400 turrets or more… on 20 hours as well but no where near done :confused: and it’ll probably be wasted anyhow kinda depressing.

For some clearity… You can set the damage about 100000000 and without AEO damage it weapon hit only one block. 1 hit - 1 block kill. So if we we want reduce ROF and keep the damage (or we want X2 longer battle? :joy:) there is only one way. But no there is two ways. Kepp original settings. Make something but with AOE.

well thats why i said on begining that from how it seems to me we need to cut dramaticly no of turrets. but server will be doing half of work and my test is in SP.

What if we all who are interested jsut test it a bit on that experimental as there we will see how it works.

You have infinite spawns and resources there. If you complain later in HWS I just say you were lazy :stuck_out_tongue:

We working really hard for the best config.

AOE can be tested then.

:joy: Guys are you from the moon? Or you real do not reading or understanding? WHAT 400 turerts? You find 100 people on HV’s? NO WEAPON COUNT CHANGE. Exept sime buff for a BA. ANd some nerf to SV minimi.
