What happened?
=> I just cannot catch a break, while moving my Bastion shield to my main cargo the game crashed on me while I had it mid air moving itā¦ This has already happened to me once before I lost 2 Large Aux coresā¦

sadly this happens with every item, not just the super expensive. the item drops to the ground but because of the game crash, it falls through to oblivion because the playfield unloads when u leave. unfortunately there are no ālogsā of this. the admins probably will not replace unless u have a video showing the āadventure.ā
Its impossible to have videos, who knows when this stuff occurs, i have witnesses that i had this shield, this is also the same ship i had last season! With my Bastian Shieldā¦ I have over 9k hours logged into the game and i am a patreonā¦ along with my cousins that play with meā¦ I shouldnt have to argue that im missing something that took massive hours to acquire has glitchrd and been lostā¦ This is the second time & 2 seasonsā¦ Its unfair to not have support. We should not be so very anxietal when handling these itemsā¦ Its suppose to be enjoyable, I am hoping HWS can helpā¦ This is a good server! Ive brought many players here because its a good server 3 pf which all pay patreonā¦ HWS is our home, it has to mean somthing for help when in needā¦

Itās the reason why HWS can be running.
When we ask for a video or screenshot itās not because we donāt believe people. Itās because we are just blind and we want to reconstruct what happened. Always in the hope, that we get more information, that we can send to Eleon to get this finally fixed.
Restoring items, every single time, is a fight against wind mills. We need to tackle the issue at its root.
I know, that feeling like an Alpha tester isnāt fun. Same counts for us. But itās the truth with this game unfortunately.
Anyways, with a lot of time investment, I can of course try to reconstruct the steps you did. The time, you are basically paying for, right.
For that, I would need to know:
You had the Bastion Shield in a connected (yellow) toolbar, right?
From what structure / logistic did you pull it from? What ID/name?
I would then try to find the backup from that structure. Spawn it. Check if the Bastion Shield was inside.
Try myself to do what you did and then see if we might be lucky and have a reproduction case I could send to the developers, to get it finally fixed.

Any back up of my CV before that time will show the Bastion Shield in my āInput Cargoā along with 10 Large Aux, 10 Quantum Cores, I also had 12 Heavy Lasers, 4 Heavy Artillery cannons, 5 or so Heavy Rocket Launchers, ectā¦ Heavy Durable Armor and other misc items, I was in Alpha start system before rejoining my faction on Beta 2 for supplies for closing up holes, gather some resources to create Multi toolā¦
I was connected to my input cargo 1682/containercontrollerlarge/250 0/029/-15 to start sorting, organizing to make room for input crafting items, I had selected my captains cargo 1682/containercontrollerlarge/250 0/030/0 to place gold, incoming credits, I had just moved 5 quantum cores which you can see are still in the container, as I selected the Bastian Shield to drag over to my Captains cargo the game locked up as the item was suspended in mid transferā¦ I was forced to restart the game, this actually happened 3 times over the next 20 minutesā¦ The only casualty was of course the Bastion shieldā¦ out of all things a 60 million dollar item on the marketā¦
The shield would be present in any back ups of my CV in the āInput Cargoā before 4/16/22 11:00 PM Eastern time for sure. Please note that I just spawned the blue print 4/15/22, my faction took me to ECC to retrieve my items from OCD just before I spawned in the blue print 1840673 near the UCH vessel in Aplha Starting system. Lastly the incident occure when i travel to Beta II where I am located at nowā¦
I am hoping for a happy endingā¦ And I hope the information can help Eleon come up with a way to save in reverse and detect crashes and loosing itemsā¦ Like i have indicated its the 2nd timeā¦ First time was 2 Large aux cores, same exact scenario, game crash! I also had a ticket out for that incident, it was never resolvedā¦ This one here is much more significant. Thank you for your efforts & timeā¦ I wil indeed be looking into a way to video record while handling these items in the futureā¦ Seems like it only happens when something is at stake like these items, at least for meā¦

I indeed found your Bastion Shield in the backup.
I then tried to connect myself via wifi, put the bastion shield in my connected toolbar and instantly pressed ALT + F4.
Unfortunately this didnāt count as crash/disconnect and I still found the item in the connected container.
So we are still looking for a reproduction case for the developers.
I gave you the Bastion Shield back in your inventory now.
For the futureā¦ canāt really give you advices except a video for faster reproduction case.
At one point, we have so much cases and material, that Eleon needs to check this with higher prio.
Good evening Rexxus, I appreciate your solving this, honestly I really do, It does help to know that there is some sort of support as we navigate through these issues. I am in game now in my CV, I do not see the shield anywhereā¦ In my personal inventory or any of the cargo containers.
