What happened:
=> Due to one of the lag/dc spikes whatever you want to call them when I was fighting a space PoI I froze mid combat and my ship was blown up right in the line of fire. At the time I had my Freelancer token on me. When I lost everything else I wasn’t really too bothered as it’s just part of the game but as the Freelancer Token isn’t replacable I was wondering would it be possible to get a replacement as no one is selling them and I’d have to either restart or buy another copy of the game to get a new one.

=> Ideally it would be nice if there was a way to get a replacement Freelancer Token, perhaps put it as an optional reward in the Freelancer Bonus mission, the hacker can replace our token instead of giving us the 1 mill credits.
But in the short term I was just hoping for a replacement.
Not sure if the admins will replace such a rare item. it is meant to be kept safe due to it’s rarity. you could always cross over to EU and earn another. I suggest you store it someplace before venturing out to hunt POIs.
I mean it’s not really a rare item the Quest to do it is quite simple and may as well be just a given perk of a freelancer. It was sitting safely in my inventory and would have been fine if not for the A12 lag spikes of doom xD
I mean, I listed two ways to simply get another one. Purchase a 2nd copy of the game and just go do the quest on my other steam account and trade it to my main character. Then Reset said character every 12 hours and generate a new one. I’d rather not do that but I mean it means that the item would no longer be rare if I can get one every 12 hours.
I mean I’ve drawn attention to the issue of the “artificial” rarity that has been assigned to an item that anyone can Freelancer can get. But thanks for your opinion on the matter. I also expect them not to be able to give it back to me but as I’ve seen people creating tickets for absolutely silly things. I said I’d at least see if they could help.
Understood. The ticket was a request for another token. I was only trying to assist the admins so they can look into server issues. This is the purpose of a community support system. Admins do not “always” need to interfere. Meant no disrespect. Only addressing the subject of the post and offing possible solutions. Cheers!
