Need Help - Can't Login to NA-RE server

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened?
=> I’ve been able to connect until yesterday evening (12/11/23 9pm MST (GMT +7). I am able to play single player and connect to the Anvil multiplayer server. I’ve been on the RE NA server now for 2 weeks. I have tried checking Empyrion install file integrity through Steam - no issues. I waited until after a server restart - still can’t connect. I uninstalled and re-installed Empyrion and still can’t connect. After the re-install I did validate both single player and multi-player on Anvil’s server.

=> Started 12/11/23 9pm MST (GMT +7) and is still an issue as of 12/12/2023 12:30pm MST.

How can we help you now?
=> The server logon process starts and loads Planets to 100%, then on structures some times it shows that it is starting to load and gets to 4% and sometime not. In all cases when I see the loading screen I don’t get any error - I just get dumped back to the Empyrion main menu.

Quick update - I just remembered that I was on the planet getting resources (water, hydrogen, oxygen). The server was about to restart and I logged off right after the 1 minute warning. That was the last time I was able to login.

Can anyone help? Very frustrating to not be able to play. Thanks.

Edit: After digging around for info I found where the server cache is. I’ve renamed it and trying to connect. It is currently downloading. Not sure if this will work or if it is smart…

Re-downloading the server files did not fix anything.

How long do I need to wait for help?

Several player in RE-NA had suggestions. I’ve checked - I do not have VPN enabled. Yes, I do have EAC enabled. I restarted my modem/home network - no help.
I tried logging into RE-EU - was able to (and started a new character there, then left). Tried again on RE-NA - still getting the same behavior - planets load and then on structures it either just dumps to game start page or structures load to 4% and then it dumps to game start page.
It seems like the sector I was in might have an issue. Hopefully the log file from earlier will help.

These error log spam are coming up every time you try to login.
Thinking and reading it, it looks like some custom material from Ravien Unity asset he made, causing graphic issues and the game denies you.

This is strange, since you seem to be the only one affected by it.

Apart from generic ideas of updating your graphics card driver and assuming you have a good card, I am not sure yet what the solution is. We have to do some try and error sessions.

My first try: I warped you to a different playfield. I hope you were not sitting in a cockpit the last time you logged off… we will see.

My graphics is a Nvidia RTX-4090. I was on display driver from the end of October but I did update to the latest (12/12/2023).

I tried to login and was able to! I teleported back to where I was having the issue and was able to get my ship and get back to my base.

Thanks for digging through the log. This was a weird issue, and thank you very much for getting back up and running!
