Sorry for being THAT guy again, but can anyone please, for the love of God upload the friggin shared data folder to a service that comes with a download manager like Mega.nz or similar, that can resume downloads, because for the same reason the download is interrupted in-game, it gets interrupted on a browser download. Without it not only I am missing icons but also in-game blocks do not appear and break airtightness or loose functionality (e.g. armor locker)

edit 1 : No, ProtonDrive doesn’t help since it doesn’t work that way

Your link in discord is what I tried after failing to download in-game and I have the problem I clearly explained above. It cuts in random % and won’t resume. I tried restarting it 20ish times and it cuts out randomly in different % of completion. Please provide an alternative site that has a downloader app like I mentioned above.

edit: also, the proton drive app doesn’t work, the download always starts in my browser (tried opera, firefox and chrome)

Is it the ingame download that gets stuck, or ProtonDrive?

There is no alternative download link currently.

All ways of downloading get stuck, both in-game and in browser/proton

I half-assedly fixed part of the problem by copying last seasons’ files to the current ones’…still missing a (very) few icons but i haven’t gotten through all blocks and stuff yet so I dunno what else is missing

Can you try to switch network, or toggle a VPN. Both solutions work for many other players :slightly_smiling_face:

Or if you can live with your solution, then I guess it’ll do. But you’re more likely to experience exceptions sadly.

I think I should stop playing altogether because I found POI’s where I can pass through missing blocks not intended to be bypassed that way (namely the oasis POI on the desert starting planet. If this isn’t a bannable exploit then what is. So since i don’t want my *ss banned I’ll just quit until someone uploads the folder on Mega or something. Woe to my master origin package moolah…

Ok so I finally did it in the most unorthodox and rage-y way I could ever think of. I force-started 10 parallel downloads and one of them actually finished (in Proton/browser obv.) Sorry for bothering you with my nonsense. Problem solved. Now to backup x100 this file :smiley: :smiley:

Good to hear, and no worries.

Unfortunately next time the server updates, the download from my ProtonDrive will be outdated again.
But it should mostly work for this season… hoepfully.
