Just forbid CV completely, since we’ll get biggers planets add a few hws garages where you can buy mining ships for lower price (you can’t lift them).
It’s like working for the local NPC mining guild.

I would like to see a lot more CVs on planets, e.g. as sled for mining HVs. If the CV is limited to size 1 or limited in the number of blocks allowed this should not be a problem ?
This is a sound idea. Limit a cv to just enough blocks on GG the have it’s thrusters and other necessities , enough space to dock some stuff, and a single layer of armor so I’d doesn’t get one shoted but also can’t be a sponge.
