What happened?
=> Lost 3911 Magmacite ore when I took it out of the OCD (mistakenly taking ALL of it but nvm this) and right as I was trying to sort it to containers the F4 window got stuck (left side my inventory, right side my ships’ containers) it was not showing the Volume indicator at all and then I got a Connection to the server lost error. I waited for a few minutes and then noticed Steam indicating No Connection so i clicked the Exit button. When I got back the magmacite ore was gone (3911 of 4000 was gone I managed to keep 89 in my inventory (HWS Armor)).

=> I dunno if this is grounds enough to warrant a restore but if it is i’d like to have the magmacite ore back in my OCD. Again, i took out all of it by mistake using the ocd:get:3#4#5 etc. command and while trying to manage where to put it I got the disconnect. If this doesn’t warrant a restoration then nvm.
I already tried and it says I have nothing to restore and to open a ticket first. I think this works after a DM has given permission for it to restore stuff (and probably also set the amount and type of item too)
As you already had this in your connected toolbar, this is unrelated to the ocd:restore command
The connected toolbar is badly implemented, and if you at any point abruptly disconnect it, you’re basically guaranteed to lose your stuff, as you did.
We don’t really have any logs over it, so normally to be able to help, you must record a video of the loss.
But as a one-time exception, we’ll take your word for it and restore them (tomorrow).

If this is going to cause trouble and controversy and people start arguing about who gets special treatment and exceptions, just forget about it, I don’t want to cause trouble among GMs and between GMs and the player base. Just forget about it and delete this ticket, I can always go mine more of anything.
The only reason I bothered to open a ticket is because it was a big quantity of a resource that we normally need to take quite a lot of time locating (and the only reason I had so much was the x-mass event).
hey its cool, i didnt realize it was to do with the connected toolbar, yeh thats a bad feature from eleon try and not use it too much as we hold no records of events regarding it.
If you lose something with the connected toolbar, dont be afraid to reach out for help, its what we’re here for
just bear in mind we tend to do these exceptions only once per player…
Sounds brutal, but everytime I use ocd for something of value, everytime I csw, spawn in a vessel etc, I hit alt+f9… Game is just to buggy at the moment, getting worse and worse
