How do I setup my astral supergates? I’m a little fuzzy on these things.
“You unlock 2 “Astral Supergates” which can be used for personal teleportation around the PvE Universe”
I would like to connect my META HQ to XMAS event location so I can collect the items on foot without having to mess around with flying a ship in/out of tax region.
My GlobeCorp META HQ has it’s stargate portal, if that can be the @ target and then one placed down on/near the ECC HQ Xmas event, I’m not particular on a given spot, just as close as you will let me have it so I can skip flying to it and easily on foot access the event poi.
I’ve named the portal in my HQ to GCMETAHQPortal if that helps
your example sounds like a very limited experienced player, but regardless, this inventory side conversation doesn’t belong in a support request about placing a Patreon Supergate imo.

My support request does not fit that template at all, that template is for someone who has had an accident and requesting help for said accident.
If you have a support template for requesting the Astral Supergate placement, I’d be glad to use it(don’t think I saw one, sorry if I missed it). Otherwise filling out a template for “about having a problem” doesn’t make sense when requesting a Astral Supergate placement so when I contacted support, I cleared the accident support template.
I’m aware of what I documented from my last inquiry on astral supergates, however that doesn’t cover how to request placement. It was also said it defaults to ECC HQ but didn’t clarify if you can change the default to somewhere else or if you can point it at your meta apartment stargate. I’m also not sure about it saying you get 2, do you get 2 ASGs that both default to ECC HQ? Or does the default ECC HQ ASG count as the 2nd ASG.
There is also no documentation on how to use the stargate in the meta planet HQs it just says goto the support.hws.global url. You buy a stargate package, you get 2, but the hqs on meta planet already have one, so you now have total 3 stargates to setup?
If I understand the astral supergate process, a template would look something like this? But I don’t know if its missing anything or is wrong since I’m still lacking info on the entire Astral Supergate process:

I’m not sure why you feel the rules don’t apply to you, but the template has worked for many years. I highly recommend you follow directions rather than making your own moving forward.
if there was a template for requesting the astral supergate placement, it would be really useful to fill in instead of a template designed for someone who needs help with an accident.
filling in an accident assistance request form doesn’t make sense when requesting a service be performed
that’s all nice that people shoe horned a service request into a problem assistance form…
your method to just fill out the form and shoe horn information into vaguely related fields… it’s like applying for car insurance by filling out a house insurance form with your car details…
If this is a problem about not understanding the template, then maybe an example will help you better understand, since your request fits perfectly fine in our template

This is what we expect from you @globeadue The template can easily be used for any problem you can have. We have +6000 tickets with all kinds of issues, where it was no problem.
Now, since I have the template I just filled here, we can help. I’ll go spawn them in soon.
the sole purpose of the template is to save time. the admins have specific spots they look for the information they need. it is much easier for them to scroll to the top of the page and eyeball the exact lines they’re looking for.
this entire waste of time could have been resolved with a minimal of three posts. instead, the admins have to scroll through walls of passive aggressive condescension.
if you’d like help faster in the future, fill out the template to the best of your abilities. the admins will ask for more information as needed.
You posted a screenshot of a Stargate. This is incompatible with a Supergate. Hence your screenshot from the initial post is useless in this case.
There is under the Stargate section, since this is a regular one.
But I see Bob and Dr. Dark already showed and told you how things go. Dr. Dark even made a ticket for you… what a gentleman.
Stick to the template. Always. Even if you might think your case does not fit, it does fit, for sure. And even if you fill it with question marks. It is a pattern we need.
Tackling tickets is repetitive and the more aligned they are, the better for our brains.
