Plants are all dead after placing an additional Solar Capacitor

What happened:
=> I added one new solar capacitor and went back inside my base and all of my plants were dead. I had just harvested them, and had 100% power in my fuel generator and full solar generator power as well.

=> Is there a way to restore the plants? If not, I understand, but certainly wanted to at least report the behavior.

Is the area of the plants airtight and do you have ventilation there? Plants die pretty fast with the wrong temperature. Glassdoors for example arent airtight.

Yes, everything was working successfully for days now. It happened the moment I put the capacitor on the base. By the way, thanks for the quick response.

unfortunately there is no way for us to restore plants.
It’s one of those year old bugs which is left for mystery :frowning:

Haha, all good. More than anything I just wanted to bring the scenario up in case it helps, but I get it. Eleon please fix. :slight_smile:

Yeah it’s a very old bug now and they have been made aware of it plenty of times, but I think the official stance is “not able to reproduce”.

Once in a while when placing blocks it momentarily acts as if the structure has a breach and instantly goes to outside temperature and radiation. If it’s cold enough or enough rads then plants instantly die before it corrects the calculations.

Thanks for that info. I’ve done some searching on the web and tried my best to figure it out, but this really helps. I will avoid base revisions during cold, storms (I normally build on O2 planets).
