So I think I got the gist of what you were saying. But my point remains. They CANNOT enter the planets in some systems in order to collect things to sell for pent (which btw is dependent on someone being online to fill a want order for bc, because I for one am not interested in filling up 10 of my sell orders just to keep some blue crystals on the market that may or may not sell.)

I see we disagree on this, I will just drop it and leave it at I BELIEVE that creating warp trap systems is a terrible idea. Most of the server as it is is moderately safe from this, with the moons around the faction planets (except for jagal, which has maybe 100 crystals on the whole planet, and neopolis e/w, where people get booted off the surface) but I still see every day someone frustrated after finding out that their first warp out ended with them stranded in pvp space, begging for help (IF they know to)

In any case, this is up to the admins, not us.

4.0 - era of turret limitation
5.0 - era of rare recources
6.0 - era of pve end ā€¦

1.0 Not worth playing.
2.0 Era of bugs and limitations, PVP was a joke, almost no rules.
3.0 Unknown era to me because I ragequit in 2.0 because of bugs.
4.0 Era of exploits/imbalances, hidden/vague rules, offline raiding and freedom.
5.0 (Expected) Era of exploits/imbalances, limitations and the rest is still unknown.

Serious question:
How will the BA limit work within factions? Take this case:

  • I spawn a BA and set it to faction
  • Everybody in my faction builds a small house on that one BA

But to whom is the core assigned for the 3-core-limit? To me? To the faction? And how can I change this to someone else? And I suppose itā€™s 250 devices for SV, and 500 for BA/CV.

Is the following correct? I have 100 RP. Letā€™s asume that I didnā€™t sit on my arse constantly, Iā€™m an active PvPā€™er. Iā€™d get 100x7000 = 700.000 credits at the start of 5.0.

If so, do I actually get 700.000 or do I cap off at 250.000 due to default limit?

Well I wonder how their script checks whether you played or not. Like is afk-ing in pvp space playing? Is flying a long distance without front thrusters playing? Is standing still in base chatting playing? Is standing on PVE planet, giving resources to PVP playfields for friends playing? Is (semi-)afk-mining playing? Is logging in for 1 minute just to get the RP active playing (it should be because you actively logged in for it)? Etc.

Also if they can see who farmed passively and whom not, then they can also punish everybody who farmed passively for breaking rule #1ā€¦ So I personally find this rather weird like I already told Rex.

Should be easy to get ~10 million from this for most players like pirates depending on how that script will work. I gained most of my RP on PVE so I probably get nothing as I bet they just check for that. Even if I was chatting or whatever from my base + I need an RP reduction anyway. Formula would need a graph that goes less steep the more RP you got but not my problem I guess :slight_smile:

Got a good question from a faction mate as well @RexXxuS :

Yeah this is terribleā€¦ I just got done making new ship. Spent 3 days making into what I wanted. Now I have to start it all over again?

It is per type.
You can have 3 private BA but also 3 BA in the faction (which will be counted for the whole faction).
Example:
Player A is in a 5 big faction [asd].
He placed 3 private BA on Earth and 3 faction BA on Mars. Player B also in faction [asd] want now place a faction BA on Moon. The faction will get a warning since it is the fourth BA core for the faction.

The RP to Credit script works independently. So you would get full 700k credits even if you could only have 250k transfered.

@RexXxuS u hear that? Thats madness. I didnt need 3 BA in Private. I need 3 BA in Faction. Everyone of us - use only faction bases (except few BA on Pirate planet). We all fly on faction ships, and now, when we go to our Bases - we need turn off CV and change faction-private to all SV/HV + CV that we fly on? And only than arrive to our BAā€¦ wtf? Forget to do this = shoot yourself. This is madness.

All good for me and more if it makes good to the server. The shopping mall wow that sounds interesting.

This only applies to BA, i see no limitations mentioned on CV/HV/SV.

Iā€™ll admit 3 BA total for the whole faction is a bit low, but 3 BA extra in faction per member would be abused in no time and we would have the same problems as today with base spamming.

Since we donā€™t know if itā€™s possible to join more than one faction or if itā€™s possible to configure turrets on private bases to not fire on certain factions, i guess we will just have to wait and see what it means.

I have a question to the administration. If you impose restrictions on the cores, then tell how it will look if the interaction within the faction, will be carried out as a collaboration between the factions. Imagine the situation: Somewhere in space, the member of the base set. He named as standard, base. Flies another member of the faction, asked ā€œwhose base?ā€ Master database is not in the game. No one confessed. As a result - Base demolished, labor in vain. Then apologize, etc ā€¦ Why this crap? Question. Rexxx, why do limitations in all directions, if I may confine the restriction in the 30 cores on the field? Why put a restriction within the faction? How to play the pirates? With 3 base, I can not grab someone elseā€™s base or ship. Do I have to bear in its core, destroy everything that has been done? Why is it so difficult?

The 3 core/faction restriction is for bases, not ships.

Lets hope devs nerf the ability to snipe bases out of range and the attacker would have to be in range of the defense to shoot anything. If that happens, the need to for extra tower-bases would be smaller and the 3 core restriction would be easier to deal with.

A 3 BA restriction per faction will certainly limit the number of play fields a faction can be active in, and CVā€™s as bases would be more important.

Iā€™m sure these rules will be changed, but i understand why they put a low limit at first. Itā€™s easier to raise the limit, than to lower it.
