What happened?
=> I attempted to repair my combat ship which contains my Patreon Core using station services. The repair cost just over 10m creds which seemed high, but I paid it because patreon core. Upon doing so, the destroyed blocks were not repaired, and existing blocks appear to have been duplicated (mass doubled). So now my ship is still busted, double the mass it should be, and my patreon core is trapped within.

How can we help you now?
=> Not sure what the best course of action is. I’d like to get my ship back in the correct state.
If I can get a replacement Patreon core I could just salvage my whole ship and respawn it again. The one in my ship could be replaced with a standard core so no duping occurs, I’m fine with that.
I’d also need to be relocated to my atlas in the JVI Sub-Sector of the Sup System though so I can have somethign to salvage it with.
I don’t care about the 10m creds. I’d just like to get my ship with core back. If there’s a better way to do so I’d be fine with that too. I do not want to lose it’s cargo though. It has a lot of valueable components in the cargo area.
So I can’t trigger the repairstation service again. Since you don’t have EGS Recycle lvl 5, I do an exception here and put the Patreon Core in your inventory.
Next time just recycle it yourself somehow.
Btw. I just see the whole ship got duplicated… wth.
So, I am actually an admin on Anvil, and this is reproducible if you don’t create a template after you spawn a new ship. Take some damage and repair and this happens almost every time. However, I am POSITIVE I did create a template. In fact, it was the very first thing I did, immediately after spawning, because I am acutely aware of the issue, but it happened anyway. We have seen that a few times as well, but it’s almost certain to happen if you do not create the template first.
Anyway, thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.
