What happened?
=> The last server restart wiped my hot bar inventory.
I was preparing to ocd:put massive amounts of attached inventory and found that global OCD:Put was disabled, so I was in process of adding an OCD:zone when the 5 minute warning occurred. I logged off as instructed, ordered some dinner, came back just now to find when I logged in my hot bar was gone.
As stated, I had a metric ton of inventory in my hot bar. The culmination of 4 days of picking parks for 50+ ships, almost 300 medium ion drive thrusters, scores of advanced ion drive thrusters etc.
I had 4 640k and 2 320 containers completely full of volume. I now have ~1410k volume missing from these full containers, I know they were full because prior to restart, I had dumped the contents of Monday Madness 104419 into them and ran out of inventory space.

• Restoration of my missing inventory would be appreciated. I have no video, please refer to logs to determine the exact inventory that was lost when following the directions from the server to log off immediately.
I did log on and start messing with my inventory before noticing massive amounts are gone but other than that nothing has moved around.
If you at any point abruptly disconnect the WIFI toolbar, you are almost guaranteed to lose whatever items you had in it.
Therefore, in the future you should never be connected unless you’re actively using it, here and now.
Unfortunately, there are no easy logs we can just check to fix this for you.
The best I can offer you, is if you name the ~5 most important items you lost (and how much), I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks, I’m aware of the hot bar bug, kind of why I think that’s what happened here, but on the same token, I was actively using the hotbar at the time the server forced disconnected for the restart. I was trying to get the hatbar contents OCD’ed but apparently global ocd put was disabled recently without an notice to users so I was scrambling to spawn a ship i could put an ocd zone on. Sadly I was focused on moving forward toward putting ocd, not back peddling and dumping back into containers.
Really hard to do come up with specifics, the only notable amount I had was the ~300 medium ion drives ( i know at one point I noted the amount in the stack to be 280ish but I believe it grew slightly as I organized inventory and consolidated them from different controllers), the others were just piles of parts and I didn’t really make a mental note of them and I’m taking a stab in the dark at how many I had we are talking about 6 days of salvaging about 40-60 ships, its mind numbing amout of loot to try to figure out whats missing), I was consoidating my salvaging ships inventory to haul back to base, I had not sort it at all yet, just dumped it in, but was in process of trying to lighten the load by shoving the heaviest stacks of things into ocd when the restart happened.

~100 advanced ion drives
~50 ion drive thrusters
~10 warp drives
i can’t recall much more than that atm I just didn’t make mental notes of it. I clicked sort by volume and dragged the top things to the bar to transfer.
The global OCD is always the last week of a season, and the first season. I think Rex had forgotten it, which is why you got to use it longer than you normally would.
But the lack of OCD doesn’t cause any loss of you. Just means that you have to get to a zone.
