Upon entering that planet, the ships freeze and I have to restart. Upon returning, I was dead outside the ship, and my ship was destroyed. I don’t know how to get the ship ID; the Patreon core isn’t there, and the ship doesn’t appear in my structure list.
Yesterday around 10:00 PM (I think) I entered the planet and the game was not responding, I restarted and when I came back I found everything like this
Damaged ships are always a difficult topic, since both our logs and backups are limited. Therefore, we normally can’t help without a video of the loss happening, and even more importantly: the structure most be unmodified. You can’t move it, take or put items in containers, take or place blocks, etc.
On top of that, this is technically a gameplay issue and not due to a bug. It is called Empyrion - Galactic Survival after all
In this case, it seems like you didn’t modify it at all, and out of luck the backup is pretty close to you being destroyed.
So for now I’ll be nice, and make a big one-time exception and restore your ship.
There’s technically a chance that I duplicated some items in your ship, depending on if you changed it between 21:30 and the time your ship was destroyed. If any items are duplicated, you must trash that. You can’t keep them.
I also warped you to your ship.
And even more importantly, we have a new EGS Insurance feature that I would recommend you to look in to. We can’t help you in the future, but this feature will let you get your ship back at least.
I was with CapitanTan on the planet yesterday while we were chatting on Discord with some other teammates. He entered a POI called Gravilith (the one with one tower) and I was nearby in case any danger appeared. Nothing happened. CapitanTan died and re-entered the POI to retrieve his backpack. I attacked a nearby infector and then went into orbit to repair, but it was too long, so I went to the system’s UCH to repair it and then CapitanTan told us what had happened. I returned to the planet and his ship was on the ground, with a third of the rear completely destroyed, which I found very strange because it had only been 15 minutes and CapitanTan didn’t hear any gunshots or explosions while he tried to retrieve his backpack. The core of the ship was no longer there, so the ID couldn’t see it, and there was no ship or danger that could have caused all that damage in such a short time. We didn’t take anything from the ship or install another core to try to recover it, so I was going to post this ticket.
We don’t know if you can recover the ship or the ID to try to use the insurance to see if it can be salvaged.
