Spawned falling on ECC after crash

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened:
I’ve entered the portal on Saturn V to Alliance HQ System and my game crashed, after I’ve logged back my character was falling down on the north pole of ECC - this is the third time it happened, previously it happened when I’ve teleported in opposite way, and other time when I wasn’t teleporting but alt-tabbed when my game was loading and I was on Saturn V

not heard of this for now.
I think your Computer is not able to load the big Saturn V structure + teleport back and forth.
Or a DSL bug is happening… but only for you? Not sure what the real problem is.

I try to improve it next season with a smaller Trading Station. Saturn V is too big and complex.

I warped you for now back to Saturn V.

Yeah it’s a very weird bug but it’s not only on Saturn V - crashes also happened few times when I’ve used teleporter monolith - in that case after logging back my character spawned in the room below teleporter monolith’s portals on target planet. I think alt-tabing during loading screen might contribute to crashes but it’s certainly not the primary cause as I had them without alt-tabing too. Anyway thanks for warping me

Interesting observations. And yes, that some land inside the Monolith sounds familiar to me.
How much RAM do you have installed?

Overall it sounds like a DSL bug for you and others. Hard to reproduce for me though.

I got high end pc with 64 GB ram so I don’t think it’s the cause, on the other hand both Saturn V and Teleport Monolith are quite big structures so I guess there is something into it

It happened again few minutes ago, when I’ve teleported from Alliance HQ back to Saturn V I got endless loading screen with nothing on it and after relog I ended up falling on ECC’s north pole again, no alt-tabing this time.

If it won’t be much trouble I’d appreciate being warped back to Saturn V.

Did you abort the loading process?
Maybe you just have to wait 30 minutes or so?

I warped you back for now but I can’t do that all the time.

  1. ask the community for help
  2. use the command cb:sethome:id
  3. have a bp ready to spawn.

Some tips.
Hopefully the new station + gameplay fixes this. Even though it works for many…

It looked like it freezed for good so I aborted after few minutes or something like that, next time I’ll open console, maybe there’ll be some errors. It’s a very weird bug since it happens very rarely and usually it’s just a crash.

Sure, I don’t want you to spend too much time on this either.
