What happened?
=> Had went afk after landing and powering down on a asteroid, went afk for 5 minutes came back and CV was blown up and all my items were in crates scattered about. Not sure if I might have gotten attacked? I hadn’t seen anything near me according to radar but I am not sure.

=> This was my starter EGS CV ship and my small miner attached to it and my first time playing with HWS, was having a great time and was exploring around looking for a place to settle down after leaving the starting area, I had everything I owned with me. I would love to possibly get a restore back to before I came to Alpha V playfield if possible. Or something similar to give me time to get out of here before I lose everything again. (After respawning near it, it seems like a Pirate Corvette is what blew me up… I knew he was around but was yellow and I thought wouldn’t attack me lol since not red… lesson learned…) If I can’t get some sort of a restore I am afraid that will be it for me and my time on this server for now. That was literally 20+ days worth of supplies and things that I had been hoarding up looking for a place to settle down. I know this might not be the correct way to play or do things, but it was how I was doing it for now as a new player. I appreciate the response and outcome regardless, thanks.
the community is usually super helpful in situations like this. also usually much faster in response. poke around in global chat for assistance. there are many players willing to help out stranded adventurers.
I appreciate the response Bob but I am unsure if anything can help at this point other than a restore. My starter CV had literally EVERYTHING I have been collecting for going on 3 weeks now. My origin gun/ammo, all my daily login loot, POI loot, thousands and thousands of resources, I mean everything. If it can’t be restored for a new player that didn’t understand that yellow enemies will attack you just like red, I’m afraid my time on this server will be done after wasting 3 weeks for it all to go poof in an instant. I had flown over and by tons of pirate stuff (unfriendly rep and yellow color) and never had gotten shot at. Not sure why this Pirate Corvette blasted me like it did.
Yes that’s a painful lesson most of us learn pretty early on. The color of the NPC does not determine it’s friendliness. The NPC tab shows you your current standings with all the factions you have discovered. if you float over each one, it will show it’s dating profile of likes and dislikes.
the admins may be able to restore, but in the meantime I highly recommend asking for help in global chat. worst case, I get out of work in about 5 hours and I can dump you a decent care package to get you rolling again.
in a survival game, losing everything is par for the course. this one brutally teaches us how to start over with a variety of different flavors
