Yup its the server. Nights are fine on the other servers i guess we wait for 6.0
Is that what night looks like for you on the HWS server ? mine is just a mostly black and a few crystals.
Yip for some reason on hws its bright, i can imagen the unfair advantage if i had to raid your base at night on planet 
Hereās trader starter on HWS ā On night in my SVā¦ First pic is just plain dark night, the second is in the ESCAPE menu where they wash your gamma a bit. same exact location.
realistically wouldnāt light be bouncing off the other planets making it brighter :D, but yea maybe its just a graphics card glitch.

Lighting has been seriously āmessed upā since 5.0, the devās are blaming it on Unity and āoldā graphics cards. Well then I guess I must get new GPUās because my 390x and 970 are āoldā. On both the lighting is now horrible, looks like somebody got the white balance and shoved it all the way up. I have gone and made everything darker to compensate.
Donāt get me started on all the flares either, all weapons fire looks like Christmas lights now, no definition anymore, just blobs of light.
Look at Masperon now, looks like you are flying into a 70ās disco with all the over saturated and super bright neon colors.
Empyrion has been turned into a lighting effects tech demo.
If everything was fine and then after patch 5.x you canāt call it a āgraphics cards glitchā, its a problem in the game engine and/or other parts of the code. Blaming it on the GPU and/or drivers is the easy way out.
Go to another server the problem is on HWS
No, its not, its the game after patch 5.0. Its in general, any server, any playfield, dedicated server or single player.
Iām not even playing on HWS right now, I came on for something else and saw this thread.
Anyway, you are stating its too dark, if you didnāt catch it from my post Iām stating its too bright, kind of the opposite problem.

I mentioned everything regarding this and we try to fix it before 6.0. Otherwise you have to deal with this enhanced difficulty - complaining meantime that the game is too easy.
Never can satisfy you guys I guess >.<
