Hello everyone. I have a question and I couldn’t find an answer in other threads. Is there a planet as calm and safe as Akua in other systems (not the starting ones)? A complete analogue. Has anyone found one?
not sure what u mean by complete analog but Meta planet in ECC sector has penthouses for 5m credits. there are no resources but they all have admin cores or NPC cores that do not drain fuel and o2 tanks. find one near water if that’s ur thing.
I’m talking about other stars. Are there any planets there that are breathable, free of predators, and have comfortable temperatures? In EGS, as far as I understand, you have to pay a tax for being in the system.
there is no tax on meta and residence planets. only ecc, ecc sector, and the csw sector have tax in that system.
the rest of the galaxy is procedurally generated from different templates. yes, there are breathable templates. but “safety” is in the eye of the beholder. most of this game is out to show us how to start over from scratch.
temperate planets are breathable with decent temperature ranges but have a variety of pitfalls waiting to thunder punch adventurers in the throat. whereas dead planets have zero hostile NPCs, but also zero oxygen. starvation and suffocation are the hostiles there.
the reason I suggest meta planet is because it has zero radiation and zero hostiles. some of us even have HWS supporter zones set up.
if you can’t afford one right now, find a UCH sector to drop a homespawn point then explore where you would like to find other places to plant flags. the empypedia in F1 gives decent descriptions for what you are going to find.
