Unable to play due to disconnecting - 2 days now

What happened?
=> Logging in, I disconnect after about 30 seconds with the message ā€œCannot send to dedicated server!ā€ I have tried clearing cache, verifying integrity, and reinstalling the game

Player(s) with issue? (steam name)
=> Archangel (ArchangelSix)

Server? (+ EU or + NA or RE EU or RE NA)
=> RE NA

When did it happen? (Use server time: type ingame cb:time)
=> last at about 0300 according to discord in game chat logs. Has been occuring over the last 2 days

On which Playfield?
=> Stuck in Sonmioi moon 1

Structure Name(s)?
=> Sitting on my fleet carrier, the Herald class carrier

Structure ID(s) (Open ingame console and type di)?
=>

How can we help you now?
=> I am not sure really. Maybe Iā€™m in a bad playfield and can be teleported out and back? I was hoping for some technical help

try to navigate to this directory (or near - abouts) and delete the ā€˜playfieldā€™ folder and try again.

Seems the issue has gotten better, but I am still getting the error after a while, or I try to navigate to any other star system. Typing in sonmioi results in an instant crash (and thats where my fleet is) and any other star gives me the ā€˜cannot send to dedicated serverā€™ error

Hey, maybe also try to verify your game integrity, as well as to navigate to \Empyrion - Galactic Survival\EasyAntiCheat and run EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe, in case itā€™s an EAC problem.

And just to be sure, in \Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Cache\HWS RE NA 10.1_..., is your SharedData folder somewhere around 750 MB? If itā€™s significantly smaller, thatā€™d be a problem as well.

I have tried to verify game integrity, and ran EAC_EOS_Setup.exe as suggested, the issue still persists. That folder Dr.Dark mentioned is 835 MB

It seems the problem is local, Iā€™ve run into problems with other various online platforms that werenā€™t evident at first. Very odd that Iā€™m able to connect in the first place, and my network is up but possibly having poor signal. I will troubleshoot on my end. Thank you everyone for the help!

Itā€™s a client-side issue yes, but it could still be a game bug. But itā€™s in general hard for us to do much more than just throw guesses around :slight_smile:

Maybe take a look at this search here on the forum, and see if any of them contain solutions that might be relevant to your problem. For example, a full game reinstallation.

Solved! Hard reset router and reconfigured wireless adapter antennas onboard PC. Maybe EM interference from touching wires? Not sure How I was having a connection that was so weak. Regardless, I am playing again. Thank you all!
