yeah you are rightā¦ we should have mentioned it earlierā¦ We allways thoughtā¦ ok this fix will take care of the problemā¦but it got worse and worse. And the last days was just to much stress for us. Not sure how many hours we talked to the devs, installed special updates from the devs just to test different things. We adapted our tool to handle different problems of the game. We actually programmed together with the devs a special debug mechanism for our server so that they get even more infosā¦ And oh yeahā¦ I should have worked for money this week ā¦ guess there was no time for that ā¦ and lets not forget Rex what he had to go through this weekā¦ also the Event he planned that just blew by bugs. I guess that kinda made us forget to mention that the server has big issues ;).
But we definetly have to keep the communication more open if we notice its going into a bad direction.
Also tonight was badā¦ EU server stopped/crashed after every 30 minutes and we were all gone just able to check every few hours to just noticeā¦ man its down again.
BUT: The devs are quite sure they finally found the Problem! Actually a EAC problem! We installed a special Server-Version again and its runs smoothly so far. So lets hope it stays that way over nightā¦ especially for the NA serverā¦since we are a sleep.
Hope we are ready for hte weekendā¦ would be time for you guys to finally play normal again.
I had just logged in after being unable to connect to the game for a day, during which my peaceful trader CV that I couldnt move got cored and pillaged. Iām okay with that, at least it was a pirate that got meā¦ But feeling angry and questioning whether I would continue on with this server, I then came to read this thread.
Thank you for words and of course your herculean efforts. And this message brought my spirits back and reaffirmed what I suspected; that even though I havenāt played on this server long, I think this may be the best server goingā¦
In the thousands of hours Ive played this game, Ive played through all the bugs, and the game is getting better and better with each step it takes. Itās what keeps me coming back for more. But having a great server to play on is what makes this game really fun.
I will get to work rebuilding, and hopefully continue to make friends here in the universe.
iāve been playing this game for likeā¦ 400hs, and a hundred of this was here on HWS. And after i put my feet here on HWS i just didnāt played in no other server. Because HWS its a nutshell.
Iāve never seen, in this 300hs playing so many different servers, a staff so dedicated and worried about the players like this. Guys, you are just amazing! You rock! Yall are doing an amazing job, i already said it. I hope that you could find the solution of the problems.
Iām kind of āofflineā from the game, loging in always i can, and even this way, i made my donation because you guys deserve it.
The bad problems seem to be gone. No more Server-Crashes even though we still strougle from time to time with some steam-kicks. But we got some logs and the devs can look into it now.
I hope itf they find this, we will have a bit more peace until 5.0
