What happened?
=> Canāt remove Zirax POIās from the orbit of my planet. Even after demolishing and salvaging to all blocks and using structural integrity menu to ensure there is nothing left.
We did it several times for a few days align. They are respawn again and again except 1 satellite which is not.
Player(s) with issue? (steam name)
=> Doit!
Server? (+ EU or + NA or RE EU or RE NA)

and CV Zirax Cutter which is not a problem, let it be
Structure ID(s) (Open ingame console and type di)?
=> ??? i donāt know such
How can we help you now?
=> Remove those POIās would be fair due that we are already did it many times. AND please EXPLAIN whatās wrong?! How to get rid of this?
If the RE developers configured the patrol ships and POIs to respawn, then thereās nothing you or we can do about that, unfortunately.
If you want a peaceful place to live, I heard the UCH sectors are relatively safe.
This is technically a bug that sometimes causes POIs to not respawn, if you do it, and not an intentional feature. So thereās no guarantee itāll work when you try.
How is it possible I canāt rid the system of hostile structures? Where is the logic?
There must be some way that is clear to the players.
I settled here precisely to the purpose of self developing to demolish them and have a clean system for next goals.
Having and developing this server, canāt you or someone more skilled as an administrator manually delete the spawn points? Do you really not have access to such settings?
Because the RE devs configured the POIs and such to respawn in your sector Whether they respawn or not is a setting made in the scenario configuration, and I believe itās enabled almost everywhere.
Since itās a multiplayer server, it also makes sense almost everywhere, since otherwise itāll be a lot harder for players who start later, to be able to get resources.
We most likely can, sure, but it would be a lot of work to handle such requests, and in general itās not a good idea on a multiplayer server.
If we stop the respawning, it means less resources for new players. So sadly, itās not something weāll do.
Officials of Empyrion on the Steam answered:
āServer POI regeneration. They have POI regen switched on, and to contact the server admins/owners about any problems that you were having.ā
So, I understand the way you set the server, and I appreciate for the great chance to play here for free.
My next appeal is about timing. It would be nice to prolongue the time between spawnings. For example to create scalable timer: more times same player goes to demolish same POI, then more rarely goes re-spawn. Either give us a hard-to-do sequence to remove the POI for a week/ month / ant longer then 1 day.
I donāt know why you asked on Steam when I already gave you the answer. Itās a setting made by the scenario developers.
Yes, itās on the server side and we could change it if we wanted. But it doesnāt make sense to change in multiplayer, so we agree with the setting set by the scenario developers.
Also the āOfficials of Empyrion on the Steamā is just a random player on Steam I found the discussion.
POIs have been on a daily reset for many years. it would be very problematic to increase that time due to the amount of traffic we see.
a simpler solution would be to find a āsaferā place to put down ur base that doesnāt get base attacks. there are thousands out there to choose from.
@Dr.Dark
I asked on Steam because one satellite is not respawning anymore, and I assume there is a curvy way / feature to do it again with next satellite. You said there is a little chance when you remove all blocks, - what may increase this chance?
@Bob
There is no problem with safety, those satellites supposed to be a challenge, as my goal, but now this is just a pain on my way to base.
mainly luck. if the HUD marker disappears, it will most likely not respawn. i have noticed some do not vanish when removing all blocks but some do.
either way it would be best to not rely on a broken mechanic. there are plenty of playfields out there. finding ur own āGoldilocksā home is an adventure in itself
Itās a bug, so I canāt tell you (because I donāt know). But it requires that the POI is 100% scraped, with not even a single block remaining.
But there are no guarantees.
If that is the case, you could always consider just becoming friendly with Zirax. There are of course some gameplay ways to do that; I donāt know those. You can also buy our āAll NPC Factions Honoredā supporter package, if you want it the easy way
That way, the zirax wonāt attack you, unless you provoke them again of course.
