yes kill Tesla and all the other plebs who keep putting TCH in their tags

Ya! or allowing non landowners to vote! Or Women! We all know they have no say.

You tread a slippery slope fella.
While I agree that donor planet owners should be consulted and included in the conversation, here is the thing. We were. And just because you are the most verbally abusive does not make your opinion more worthy of being heard.

As one of these pvp players that you speak of, I don’t have hundreds of autominer cores, but then I don’t need hundreds, as Chaplain 5-15 mentioned you only need the 13 you get from completing the first two missions. As for combat steel blocks, I do have thousands of those because every single piece of ore that I collect goes into making more ingots. Why? Because I need them for more ships when the one I’m flying gets destroyed.

How many ships do you think that you need? You can only fly one at a time. So, you can dish out as many ships as you need to enter pvp and survive. Mattcore37k got the drop on me and another of my faction members last night in game and we a good 10 minute battle before my faction member had his primary cockpit destroyed. After that we retreated just as more of Matt’s faction members showed up in system. We exchanged compliments about the fight and all moved on with our night. My faction member had to scrap his ship due to the damage, but he built another one, no great loss on materials but A LOT of fun.

What I want is interaction. This is a multi-player server after all. How can I interact with you when you turtle up in the safety of PvE? What I want is the opportunity to catch you, give chase, and try (TRY) to destroy you. I have had the drop on many ships this season, and most run back to PvE and say something along the lines of “That was close!” I agree! And that was fun for a PvP’er. “Nice job!” I respond, because I like the interaction. I’ve fought people to the server reset and everyone stopped fighting and warped back to base. I’ve fought people who escaped into warp - it is possible to escape a pirate attack. What causes most people their loot is actually turning to fight me in a non-PvP ship; I win that fight every time. The funny thing is, the loot that we get is pretty much what is left of the ship. That’s it. The ships that are full of materials is rare. Why? Because most people turtle up in PvE and never encounter me or other pirates.

I actually WANT you to have PvE options, and fallback points. Again, what I (and most pirates) want is an OPPORTUNITY encounter. Give us something to chase and get excited about.

You need not lose your fun in favor of mine. That is why I suggested making daily RP have a purpose. Once daily a trader should have to make a trade run to ECC from Ju to get their RP. The larger the shipment, the larger the RP reward. That would be a realistic and living environment. Once per day a Guardian should have to escort a trade ship from Ju to ECC during a trade mission to get RP. Why? Because the Guardians are supposed to protect the traders, but that never happens because there is no forced interaction. Freelancers could opt to make a trade run daily, or make an escort run daily to get RP because they are more flexible. Pirates should have to attack one trade ship mission per day to get RP. Guess what? A system like this puts EVERY player in the POSSIBILITY of PvP conflict once per day. We pirates can’t get you all (or can we?). That would increase the fun level for me 10k percent, and allow you to turtle in PvE to enjoy your game as well.

Bottom line, what I want is a living universe of activity.

As a land-owning male, I find this argument tired and demeaning.

I feel that youre not one of the pvpers I had in mind Eliath. If events like your examples would be held daily I would gladly participate, that is actually the kind of pvp I would enjoy, always under the assumption enough people participate.
I just wanna say flushing out the pvers bei force wont help in the long run. having daily events like what you mentioned would certainly be way more helpful.

At the end of the day you should never be sleepless or so stressed you do not really enjoy running your servers, somewhere else today I read about how toxic you are finding the Servers to be lately if this is not what you want on your servers pick the top 5 most toxic people on all the servers and send them on a weeks vacation with the reminder that if they come back acting the same way it will be forever. wash your hands of them ignore them crying about it and in a week they will be on another server and not your problem. If your stressed out about the toxicity of the servers a lot of others are too… just they can not do anything about it.

As for Perfection… In order for something to be perfect it must also be flawed everything is balance between good and bad it can not be avoided, Changed, or Cheated.

My only major beef with this server is the insane restrictions. There no freedom. You get one of each vehicle, and it blows. Restricted, restricted, restricted.
So no, I wouldn’t like to see new play fields added since we had to sacrifice 50 playfields for performance as it is, and then we are still restricted. And the server population have been cut in half, yet we still have more restrictions.

It’s hard for me to relate to that, I joined at the very end of season 5 and now playing in 6. To me at least, it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of restrictions

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I think there’s a bias since you have seen the big unrestricted version whereas me as a new player have only seen this version.

I agree that ideally no restrictions can be great, but I also understand why they’re needed. What’s really that restricted that it makes your play experience bad? You prefer having size 10 ships that just lag and disconnect you in combat? Where a fight would last 4 hours then they escape back to their planet? Or 100 play fields such that you end up on a planet by yourself (better play single player at that point)?

Honestly restrictions are OK, there just needs to be a rebalance to introduce a need for PVP. The main issue now is that there isn’t an incentive for you to stay in pvp areas, or even go there often. Hell, there’s neomodyium and sathium in peacekeeper west, all common resources on Ju. And you can make gold by selling resources, no need to go to PVP. So most people stay and live in PVE then just go to PVP to offline raid.

Let’s wait to see survey results and what changes are coming from that, I’m excited

The 1 vehicle per type is pretty much just on starter, and peacekeeper.

Not asking for unrestricted, but I want less restrictions.
It’s nice to have a carrier CV, and also a battle CV, and have a mining HV, and just a tank HV, and maybe a few SVs.
Not much, but more than 1 per type per person per playfield.

And having them ready to spawn in your factor is not the same, in the factory it spawns with no ammo, no air, no fuel, no supplies, its not Ready-To-Go.

And McProuty… I don’t know what you are talking about, nearly every playfield has restrictions of one type per person, this has been discussed in several threads. I think the exceptions are Golden Globe and Homeworld, and those are no personals, all faction iirc.

I often find myself wondering if HWS performance has hit a brick wall because Rexxus runs 3 HWS servers and 2 Official servers… perhaps his hardware is taxxed to the limit.

Hey do you have a dual personality to fly several vessels at the same time or what ? XD

You just need one of each kind, if you lose it you just pull e new one out of your factory. Certainly somewhere in PVE, where your base is. And where you can fill it with fuel and ammo from your OCD or containers.

Or directly in PVP space from your OCD if Rex is willing to do something about the ridiculous price for level 7 OCD.

I can debunk that thought for you. Different hardware for each server. All dedicated no sharing.
