Sadly given the new info I don’t think there’s really much we can do to help you. As mentioned earlier, damaged ships are very complex in general for us to help with.
More or less the only option that was in this case was a full ship restoration from a backup, but that doesn’t make much sense given the circumstances, and it adds a bunch of extra complexity. You would lose any changes you already made, you would potentially lose a bunch of progress around the destruction time (and maybe several hours earlier), and there’s a big chance I’d be duplicating items.
Giving you credits or resources is not really possible either, since I have no clue what you lost. The logs and backups for damaged ships are just too limited.
Overall, getting help with damaged ship has three different factors that affect whether we can help or not.
- Do you have a full video showing the bug happening?
- Whether you didn’t modify your structure, take/put stuff in containers, take/place blocks, move the ship, and so on.
- Luck. There are many hours between backups, so the timing of when you get damaged also matters.
So while I completely understand that it’s super frustrating to take a bunch of damage from a bug that wasn’t your fault, we can’t help you in this specific case ![]()
If a bug like this happens in the future (specifically with your ship being damaged or destroyed), my recommendation would be to:
- Always record your Empyrion gameplay. It’s super useful in tickets.
- Relog immediately and see if that lets you save the ship.
- If you can’t save your ship, try to use
cb:destroy:IDto delete it, and then create a ticket. That simplifies the logs greatly. - Cross your fingers that you were lucky with backup timing.
Worst-case scenario, even if we can’t help, we can restore the version of the ship you had before you used cb:destroy, so you’ll never be worse off by following this advise compared to not following it.
