When did it happen? (Use server time: type ingame cb:time)
=> Thursday, 6/26 between 16:00 - 17:00 UTC

On which Playfield?
=> Planet Anotr in the Etrolle System (Polaris)

Structure Name(s)?
=> Gun Barrel NR

Structure ID(s) (Open ingame console and type di)?

How can we help you now?
=> I would like either the Aux CPU Core or the components to build returned. I spent 15 mil to buy 242 Salvaged Drone Core Processors earlier yesterday (6/26) to build and that is a hit for my gameplay. Unfortunately, I understand returning a core or components cannot be done by support.

I read in a recent support ticket (10 days ago) where the user lost an Aux Cpu during building same as me, due to a common constructor bug. No resolution for this type of problem, no admin logs, and I don’t have a video of the occurrence so I’m out of luck.
Felt the need to record another incident of this even if there is not a solution.

Hey, @nicknacnoe.

You already summarized it pretty well. It’s a very common bug, and we don’t really have logs over it. I would highly encourage you to record your Empyrion gameplay in the background while playing. We have a guide on how to set it up here: Recording your gameplay in Empyrion

The best I can offer you is a one-time exception, based on your word. I’ll put the item in your inventory next time I notice you offline :slightly_smiling_face:
In the future, we would need a video, where the loss is visible.

While the bug probably can’t be outright avoided, you can most likely minimize it by frequently restarting your game. Especially before crafting important items.
And if you’re crafting an important item, make sure to look inside the constructor the moment it’s about to finish crafting (the moment where it would normally go from crafting to being put in your container).
You don’t need to record the entire crafting process; just the final moments.

Appreciate your help and guidance. Thank you.

No worries.

I put it in your inventory now :slight_smile:
