Lost HWS DNA

What happened?
=> I received the gift of 75 HWS DNA today. I posted 35 for sale and the remaining 40 I wanted to give to a colleague from the faction. My original weapon is in a container in my base, container name Mi Staff. I agreed with my colleague that he would find the 40 DNA in that container. I left the 40 HWS DNA in the container without taking the original weapon. The colleague wanted to take the 40 DNA after not even 2 minutes but there was no DNA in the container. I was not connected to any other container. Basically I came from ECC where I posted the 35 DNA for sale with the teleporter I opened with F4 and moved from the personal inventory to the Mi Staff container. Base ID is 439386. The colleague who was supposed to receive them has an in-game name of Billy-Joe.

I see 65 DNA in your “Adi” container in your base Could that be it?

No.Adi has a password.Its for MI only.No. Adi is with a password, just for me. They are the ones I received from Easter.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much we can do for you here. Items can’t just disappear from a container for no cause, especially since you didn’t use the connected toolbar.
At least I haven’t heard of such a bug in 7+ years

You likely put it in the wrong container or so, or someone took it. I can’t see exactly what happened to it.

If you can provide a video of what happened, then maybe there’s something I can do, but otherwise, unfortunately not.

I thought you could see who took them. I suspect they were taken too.

We unfortunately can’t see if things were taken, without spending a lot of time investigating. Internals thefts and such is up to you to deal with

1.3 If you think you have a thief in your own faction, it is YOUR responsibility to protect / keep track of your property and assets. HWS CAN’T help with intra-faction gameplay (ie. internal faction politics), being that there are so many players.
Only with very precise proofs we might investigate the matter. Overall we don’t tolerate sabotage and / or infiltration on HWS.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I can’t prove that I left the 40 DNA either. You reminded me that I had the 65 in the private container and I gave the 40 to my colleague, but connected via video on Discord so that all my colleagues in the faction could see it.

No worries. Sadly there’s nothing we can do to help here then.

I would highly encourage you to start recording your Empyrion gameplay. It really helps for issues like this or bugs.
For example, Steam Overlay has a Game Recording feature.
