Lost ship parts after using ocd recycle

I ran a recycle command yesterday and it appeared to work fine (ship vanished) but none of the items ever showed up in my OCD (was looking for optronic stuff, zasc/erest etc)

I have OCD rank 5, and have used it in the past successfully

the recycle command returns whole blocks, not components. expand the recycle command on your dashboard for that ship. that should tell you where everything went.

also note, recycle lvl5 is required for devices. ocd lvl5 is a different feature.

As Bob said EGS Recycle level is not the same as your OCD Level
You only have EGS Recycle level 3.
Therefore you only got a percentage of the blocks (not devices) returned to your OCD.

I’ll try and find out where they went, I saw very little change (if anything) in my OCD after using the command.

Appreciate the clarity on recycle level vs OCD level.

It’d be great to see a log of where the fractional parts went.
I don’t see how to show where they went with the existing commands, I’ll experiment a bit, muhahahah.

I’ll focus on “expand the recycle command on your dashboard” is that on the HWS site vs a command? Poking around before work…

So given the above, how can I determine where the parts went? They didn’t end up in my OCD or my linked container. I made sure I had a linked container with some space in case my OCD filled up.

I see many Not X, does that mean they were just vaporized? If so I guess dismantling manually is a better bet.

correct, levels 1-4 provide hull blocks only. levels 5 and higher provide devices and hull blocks. check the table on the recycle guide page to see what percentage is given at each level.

side note, hull blocks automatically get dumped into the OCD no matter which option you pick for recycling. always be sure your OCD has room before recycling.

Uh oh, it appears recycle may have changed since I last used it (believe I got most parts and it was a convenient replacement for manual tool use).

Hmm I’m not even seeing the hull blocks in my OCD.

Rtfm I guess. I might be getting too old for HWS fancy features.
