Need help ASAP, 200+ play hours exploded!

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened?
=> My bases both exploded today, though the one I am worried about the most is the “Square Base Large v1.0” it had hundreds of hours worth of mats stored in it. The radioisotope generator forced the base to stay powered on and that made every other gen think it was overloaded when the base ran out of fuel. The explosion was nearly instantaneous.

Hey, @DoktorSchmerz. Welcome back.

Can you please tell me what changes happened to your base between 20:00 server time yesterday and now? Any block modifications, items taken or put in containers, etc.
I see lots of activity around the bases, but I need to know what :slight_smile:

I left everything as it was when it exploded, I didn’t even put a new core on. I went back there because I had other vehicles that I needed. I did not take any materials, or change anything in any way.

Awesome, that’s very good. But keep in mind 20:00 is ~3:45 hours before your base exploded. That’s the most recent backup we have before the explosion.
Your base exploded around 23:45.

I also need to know if anything happened to the base in that timeframe before the explosion :slight_smile:

Yes, I was smelting down like 2k platinum ore and 4k gold ore that I had just surface mined. I had also deposited around 20 laser upgrade kits in trying to manufacture modulated laser turrets. Those are the most significant things I can think of. As far as events at the base, there were no enemy forces present if that is what you are asking.

Alright, thanks. Damaged bases are always very difficult for us to help with due to limited logs and backups, but since you did not modify your bases significantly and the backup is OK timed, I’ll make a big exception and restore them.

In the future, I’d greatly recommend EGS Insurance instead: EGS Insurance

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I didn’t know insurance was even a thing here! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

No worries. Both structures are restored now. Make sure to fix them so they don’t blow up again :slight_smile:
