What happened?
=> Repaired CV 11750579 at the repair bay attached to BS 7491188 (noticed odd repair costs). On completion, the CV was visually split into two separate ships that could be interacted with. A “new” CV that was missing its shield generator, warp drive, and other minor components, and the original CV that had all its components.
Noted issues of “new” CV: Core block placement rotated/shifted (pilot’s camera position shifted to the right), Ammo was visually duplicated in both ships but only physically existed in one, Components were missing from the “new” CV (Both ships had an overloaded CPU as both ships effectively existed as one ship), The ships cameras, and physical space seems torn in two, resulting in player teleportion (intermittent occurrence) between ships and camera inconsistancies.
TLDR: Repair Bay split CV into Schrödinger’s Ship

QoL: Reimburse material lost in bugged repair / Advise player on how to stop recurrence
From my knowledge, it’s a bug that can happen if you don’t save a template manually after spawning in a blueprint.
There’s unfortunately nothing we can do to help here. Your only option is basically to scrap entire, and spawn in a new blueprint. And then save a template afterwards.
Thanks for quick input Dr.Dark. Aye, I uncovered the same info while researching the topic. It was my first time being fooled by the auto-saved template the game creates for you when something is first spawned in. I won’t make the mistake again soon.
Without access to Patron benefits, is hand recycling with a multi-tool my least time intensive option to cleanse the area of infected blocks?
