What happened:
=> Gone into the pandara secotor, headed to planet, aln spawned up and shot me. I lost ship, died. stuck there now. found out about needing to sethome while at the base so cant do that now. personal teleport not availiable in PVP.

Normally that is part of PvE / PvP but since you are new and learned the lesson I did a freebie and warped you there.

sethome/gohome is very handy and Fresh Start is always an option.
Oh and don’t forget about this:

Set Origin Planet as new spawn start

Using EGS services, players can set their Starter Planet to be their chosen Origin’s Planet. Some may choose this option if they don’t wish to return to their Starter Planet if they died and chose “Fresh Start”. Make sure to keep an Emergency Warp CV/SV available and ready to spawn at any time when venturing into PvP, as it can make the difference between one death and 100, if your cb:home bugs or you don’t want to Fresh Start.
