What is “Set Starter Planet”?

The EGS Set Starter Planet service allows players to change their default spawn planet to their Origin’s homeworld. This is especially useful if you’ve chosen the “Fresh Start” option after death and don’t want to return to your old Starter Planet.

Instead of rebuilding a warp-capable SV or CV just to rejoin your faction or travel back, this service lets you skip the grind and reunite with allies faster.

Use the following command while standing on the planet you want as your new starter:

egs:setstarterplanet

Or click the button in HWS Connect > Structure Commander > EGS PDA

:warning: Important:

  • The planet must belong to your Origin (e.g., Explorer, Dealer, Fighter, Engineer | Only relevant for HWS+).
  • This command will permanently set your current playfield as your new starter planet.
