Correct me if I’m wrong, but doing a cross server warp overwrites the destination server DNA with the coming from servers DNA?
With that being the case what happens when…
My NA profile was awarded 200 DNA from the wipe and my EU profile was awarded 300 dna and then I CSW NA to EU?
Am I going to loose that 300 EU dna?
If this is the case, I’m sure many people have already lost a lot of DNA by not realizing this nuance. I’ve been hesitant to CSW because of fear it will wipe.
Hey guys,
sorry for the delay!
I tried for too long to figure out an automatic way, as I thought I could do, until I realized, that the unique entity IDs of players change with each season
So I am currently still crawling hundreds of Steam IDs of the player names I got in my excel file. One by one.
I try to be ready today, just fyi that you will get it all at once and there is no queue or so.
I wasn’t asking when they would come, it was the nuance of playing both servers and cross server warp deleting the existing DNA on the CSW destination.
So, lets say I earned 200 DNA on NA and 300 DNA on EU.
When I CSW from NA to EU, doesn’t that 300 EU DNA get deleted/overwritten with the 200 NA DNA?
I’m afraid to CSW because I don’t want to loose the DNA
Ah, sorry.
In that regard you can read here what will be transferred with a CSW and what not:
In terms of reward I don’t care who is doing a CSW when and how.
I’ll give the reward on player location based.
So if you played on both servers, on both servers the rewards are given and it might risk an overwrite, yes.
I can’t do this convenience goodie on top or it would be a full time job.
For those affected it means you have to login first, use the rewards to the degree you want and then do the CSW, after you used the reward.
Use can mean buy stuff, convert stuff, put it in a container with a lock code to retrieve it with your future version from CSW.
