LBP are Warp Point Campers

We would is people stopped putting fuel cells and ammo boxes next to their loot.

I think we end up looting more from backpacks than actual ship cargo.

Harmless traders recruiting pirates? Odd odd…

Even the lowest of the Low can see the light and be redeemed.

As the poet Ludacris once pondered, how low can you go?

"I was already so far past the point of no return I couldn’t even remember what it looked like when I had passed it. " - Max Payne

As the band Public Enemy said
How low can you go… Death row what does brother really know … Public enemy number 1 …

Less Nerdy imo :stuck_out_tongue:

I vehemently disagree with this.

In eve you got two things for protection:

  1. You spawned somewhere near the gate within 15 km making it difficult to know exactly where someone is when they warp in.
  2. You are cloaked when you warp in are given time to decide what to do in relative safety if you end up in a camp.

That is why I park 3.5km from the jump in point. It is out of render distance effectively giving them a cloak similar to the mechanics in eve. It strikes a good balance between camping the “point” and camping the general warp in path.

Until better jump mechanics are implemented I maintain that 3.5km from warp in is the best place to be. And trust me, we have gotten over 30 kills in the last few days from doing exactly this. PvP is far from hamstrung.

It made a lot more sense in 3.4 when CVs all came apart like wet paper bags when engaged even by a single PvP fitted SV.

Now when well built CVs are capable of holding their own - either way that’s not what this is about.

Regardless of how valid or invalid the rules are, we go out of our way to follow them.

Xanif - I admit that my memory is a bit fuzzy from all the rum - but if I recall there were not a whole lot of cases when people were able to outrun my double bubble interedictor.

So yeah you warped in and were cloaked - and that gave you time to fully understand the scope of how utterly hopelessly screwed you were.

I don’t think you understand how many people that play this game perfer the PVE aspect over the PVP.

Here are some nice graphs for people , Number 1 is all PVE related.

This is a such a bad argument I don’t even understand what you’re getting at. PvE players deserve a buff because they don’t want to fight people? That’s the closest I could get.

Maybe. Jump mechanics were much more flushed out in EvE than in this game. I look forward to the day that we can actually camp the jump in point but at the moment I think 3.5km out is fair in terms of balance and it seems to be yielding a decent amount of fruit.

Almost 10k took this survey and over 80% of them enjoy the PVE / building vs the PVP.

Not an argument , lol you and this 12 year old attitude.

Pointing out that not everyone plays the game the way you play the game. Rex does a really good job by giving everyone , and yes the PVE"ers, a place to play the game.

Many hardcore pvp only servers but you will see that most have very few if any people playing on them.

obviously you all wrong understood my concept of exclusion Zonz:

This area in any way protects no one, however to remain in it, will be issued a notice in the general chat warning that in system as there is someone camped in the zone, thereby This brings more just because the guy to jump in there will know that danger immediately after the jump just as the camping is at risk as a defense force may be going on his capture, and 7 km will work both to hide both the predator or the prey, the exclusion zone is not an area pve, is just one area around the jump point, one will remain generally a warning to others who may eventually go there, if u want to stay in secret, you will have to stay on the edge of the exclusion zone …

I think 5 km should be a good size for this area.

Oh look, the hypocrite is insulting me. Have you raided any more trader bases as of late?

Yup. Salty. That’s why I posted on the forums whining I flew head first into a very obvious and easy to avoid camp around trader planet.

Oh…wait…

This seems reasonable for everyone involved.

This is redundant. Let me make this as simple as I can:

If LBP is online. Traveling through PvP space is not safe.

you are overestimating them, are not all that …

I’m confused - who am I overestimating?
