What happened?

I had 4 full stacks of gold coins (8000) and a little less than half a stack (3960?) in a connected container, in the bank zone on ECC. I hit the deposit in the PDA from the HWS Connect site but the server rebooted at almost the same time. When I came back, items were gone but bank balance had not changed, and no record.

We explicitly warn player to stop doing anything during the server restart period. Everything you do during that procedure can cause data loss, since a lot of data processing is done in the background and not everything is persistent at that point.

Not really game-breaking, and it definitely was my fault for trying to rush it instead of waiting for restart. I’m still fairly newish to the game, and the money was a bit of a gift anyway.
