Missing items?

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened?
=> Missing Radio isotope generator and HWS armor. Looks like someone outside faction entered ship (“Companion” or “100K cargo” i changed the name not long ago) and looted maybe according to proximity logs. I have codes set to my cargo boxes and armor box.

=> RE NA

When did it happen? (Use server time: type ingame cb:time)
=> timeframe within the past 28 hours or so. Someone named Bob was in the ship 8/9 hours ago when i was on the faction planet as well while i was offline. Not sure how to read prox log because it shows “RexXxuS” was in one of my ships (Praetorian) as well 9 hours ago(ship next to it). Im new so sorry if im reading these logs wrong!
On which Playfield?
=> SUP/ECC 23/22 hours ago. Golden Globe early on in the day but i was wearing HWS armor during this time.

How can we help you now?
=> Was someone able to loot my HWS armor and radio isotope generator with passcode? Is it possible to get these 2 items back if someone did loot my boxes with a code on it?

Just to add. I forgot i had an issue around 22 hours ago as well. I unequipped my HWS armor while in the “100K cargo” and immediately fell through the ship with no armor in space. So i fell indefinitely until i starved. Only thing in backback was the color tool and some food. I was super tired, bought 2 ships, landed in our faction planet and fell asleep without checking on armor. so not sure if that was also the cause of losing anything.

When you remove a armour in space while in range of gravity generator and not standing on a block, you instantly start falling…thanks to the “good programming” of the game devs, you drop the thing you were “holding” with your mouse click (in this case HWS armour) into the area around you…where it despawns after 3 minutes…

There is a way to save your armour and perhaps even yourself in such situation, but you must react fast…

One way is by going to HWS connect and buying a light armour from the market if there is one (you don’t need the armour locker to equip it)…you also might take one out from your OCD (if you have the Fighter Origin or you are Patreon of right level)…this way you have a chance to survive, but is not very likely, given that you don’t have a armour and lack of O2 is likely going to kill you quite fast…given the time needed to jetpack back to your ship, you are likely to lost your dropped armour

If you have a lot of HP left and you think you won’t die in a minute or 2, you might wanna type destroyme command into the console in game to die instantly…this way you should still have the time to pick up the armour that is floating near your armour locker before it despawns in 3 minutes

that would make perfect sense on how i lost the armor. im still baffled on how i lost my generator though as that was in the cargo box. Could be related to the situation i got myself into though since it happened too fast to react to anything while panicking

Good morning, @Quigonjum.

First of all, I would encourage you to begin recording your Empyrion gameplay. From my experience, the majority of the most expensive bugs can be easily solved if you drop a link to a video of the loss happening in your ticket

Second, Marko is probably right, but let me answer the cheating accusation anyway. It’s unfortunately not something we can really help without proof.
To quote our rules:

1.3 If you think you have a thief in your own faction, it is YOUR responsibility to protect / keep track of your property and assets. HWS CAN’T help with intra-faction gameplay (i.e., internal faction politics), since there are so many players.
Only with very precise proof might we investigate the matter. Overall, we don’t tolerate sabotage and/or infiltration on HWS.

And finally, what Marco suggested, which sounds plausible. Unfortunately we still can’t help with that, since our policy is that we’re willing to make one blind exception per player, in cases where our logs are unclear. That I already did for you recently, sadly.
Only if you have a video of you dropping the armor, then we might be able to help.

understood. i don’t mind losing the items since they can easily be bought but more so how it happened so i can avoid the same issue with unreplaceable items. Good call on recording. I spend 75% of my time online trying to troubleshoot and recover from these problems. i’m sure you’ll see more of my tickets lol
