Scrapped ship in EQS OCD zone but, got nothing back

Hi, @DeathByVX.

As Gareth and Bob already explained, how much you get back depends on your EGS Recycle level. You only have level 1, so you only get blocks (no devices), and only ~10% if I remember right.
Gareth’s link will explain in detail.

Xenosteel is considered an “other”, which is not a block, and therefore it does not get returned
But if you upgrade your EGS Recycle level to 5, before the wipe, then I will return the xenosteel blocks at least.

Is this not the same as ocd level 7 and are all the level things not increased with the astral member stuff? I thought it said it should be at least level 5 with that.

clarification request: the guide specifies “blocks & devices” not “blocks and others”

to most players, xeno steel hull blocks are considered blocks. this is the impression i have been under for many years..

patreon doesn’t increase levels for ocd, bank, recycle, or any HWS features. it’s a good idea to read up on things a bit more before opening das wallet

The Patreon benefits do not include increased OCD or EGS recycle levels, nope

The HWS Supporter package (in https://support.hws.global), which is not related to Patreon, gives OCD, EB, and EGS Stealth level 3 permanently.

At the very least it should be more clear as, I could have just scrapped the thing myself and gotten everything back. Now I am just missing everything because it makes it seem like you will get the stuff back by recycling when in reality you get back almost nothing at all.

I do tend to read, it’s just missed because there are two different recycling things OCD and this EGS recycle. I just didn’t notice the banner at the top of the structure commander page which I wasn’t looking for as, I didn’t realize they were different things. I am looking at how to upgrade the EGS recycle function now. Thank you.

Yes, that’s completely understandable. The HWS Guide can be difficult to navigate, and HWS has a steep learning curve.

EGS Recycle can be upgraded using egs:upgrade:recycle. The prices are also listed on the above link to the EGS Recycle page

Yea I made it level 5 just can’t see to find where I confirm that.

I think egs:info has the levels. But I just checked, and yep, all good.

I count 2288 xeno steel blocks. Technically you’re only supposed to get 50% with EGS Recycle level 5, but since you lost everything else, I’ll return everything.

Can you log out for 1 minute? Then I’ll put it in your inventory
