Story and Gameplay

The Alliance Origin are the so-called ‘good’ guys of the HWS Universe. They protect the weak and the meek and they inflict justice upon those who operate outside of the law. They are not afraid to punish people who prey on the powerless.

Here are some of the guiding principles, requirements, features and benefits if you choose Alliance as your Origin:

  • The Alliance Origin weapon is the Enhanced Assault Rifle2072

  • Protector of the weak

  • May be called upon and Deputized by an Admin to help keep peace or resolve community issues

  • Have access to the fa:supply command

This supply package can save your life or get you out of a tight spot. The HWS Universe is not without danger, so if you find yourself stuck somewhere without supplies, use this command - but be sure there is room in your inventory first! Every Origin has access to similar versions of these survival supplies, so use fa:supply wisely. This command can be used once every 7 days.

Alliance Supply Packages

Tier I | Unlocked at 1 - 499 Reputation Points

Tier II | Unlocked at 500 - 999 Reputation Points

Tier III | Unlocked at 1000+ Reputation Points

Reputation Point Gain

  • 5 RP per Lawless kill

  • 1 RP when you visit ECC once per day

  • 1 RP for living exclusively in PvE (this applies to & is required of all faction members)

  • 1 RP for one or more warps per day (ie. 5 warps = 1 RP)

  • 5 RP for an HWS Marketplace item purchased by a player from a non-Alliance Origin

  • 7 RP if you have 77 Autominer Cores in your inventory or on your action bar (in addition to your Origin’s epic/enhanced weapon)

  • 7 RP per Guilty Bounty Kill (Bounty of at least 10 million credits)

  • 7 RP for one purple Alien Container 544

    Faction Activity

  • For every 10 active faction member everyone in that faction get +10 RP per day

  • For every 20 active faction member everyone in that faction get +20 RP per day

  • For every 30 active faction member everyone in that faction get +30 RP per day

  • For every 40 active faction member everyone in that faction get +40 RP per day

  • For every 50 active faction member everyone in that faction get +50 RP per day

  • (active = logged in and played within the last 7 days)

Note: The 7 RP bonus for killing a Guilty player is granted only once per day.

Note: All RP Gains require that you have your Epic/Enhanced weapon in your inventory when the qualifying action takes place. You must also be online once per day to qualify for the Living Exclusively in PvE perk.

Strengths

  • Comfortable in PvP or PvE
  • Allowed to purchase 7 HWS NPC Trader packages per day
  • Higher BA(base) limits
  • +1 Blueprint Class advantage for any Base on an Alliance planet
  • Easy and moderate gain of RP
  • OCD level 7 Cooldown timers: (these apply to players who have attained OCD Level 7)
    • Cooldown on put in a PvP playfield: 10 minutes
    • Cooldown on get in a PvP playfield: 1 hour

Weaknesses

  • Dependence on strong loyalty within the faction can cause problems (especially true for large factions)
  • Marked as Guilty if you kill an Alliance member who is not Guilty
  • Lose 5 RP as soon as you become guilty
  • Lose 10 RP if you kill another Alliance player (prevent this happening by using the fa:scanorigin command)
