Server Full Wipe
To follow the patch cycle of Eleon, adapt to new changes, create new content and make things overall more interesting we have a 3-month season cycle on HWS.
In addition, full wipes must be done (on any decent server) to ensure the integrity and smooth runtime of Empyrion in Multiplayer.
However, on HWS a full wipe does not mean the loss of everything for you. Your playtime on HWS is always rewarded and will be rewarded in the next season.
What will be transferred

HWS DNA earned in one season will be paid out as credits for the following Season. The multiplier is 7,000.
Example: If a player earned and has a total of 100 HWS DNA at the end of a season, they would be paid 700,000 credits the next season. This amount will be deposited into their Elemental Bank account. -
Up to 2,500,000 Credits - This amount is higher if a player upgrades their Elemental Bank

All Ore types from the HWS Auto Miner (OAM). The OAM levels transfer as well.

Everything stored in the OCD*, including the OCD level.
*This is subject to change. Always check the forum for announcements about what items in the OCD may be eliminated or reduced for the coming full server wipe and plan accordingly. Check also the OCD Categories and their respective limits.
What can be transferred with Support Packages
- Elemental Bank Balance (up to 400 million)
- Elemental Bank Level
- EGS Recycle Level
- EGS Stealth Level
- Factory Resources (transferred into the OCD - if there is room)
What will not be transferred
- EGS Recycle Level, EB Level, EGS Stealth Level (depends on above)
- Completed Factory Blueprints (ships, bases)
- Player Inventory
- HWS Marketplace Trades
- Player Level
- Factions
- Ships
- Bases
- OAM Fuel
- HWS Skill Tree Skills & Skill Points
- O Supply Counter (you can use o:supply after the full wipe)
- Every illegal item in the OCD
- Any used one-time supporter package. For example Elemental Bank Zones or Supergates

HWS Seasons
In general HWS has implemented seasons - these last approximately 90-days (3-months). However, the length of seasons may vary (shorter or longer) – such as when Eleon releases a major version update, or a very critical patch is needed between major releases.
Complete server wipes normally have a major impact on players due to the loss of all progress. This is true of all servers, including HWS. However, we here at HWS have created and implemented several unique features that set HWS apart from the typical server setup.
Three (3) of these unique features allow players to retain much of their hard-earned progress across wipes, these are:
- Elemental Bank: Retain various amounts of Credits across wipes
- Orbital Cargo Drone: Retain various types and amounts of ores, blocks, parts
- Orbital Auto Miners: Produce and store various types and amounts of Ores
Our commitment to players – we will only wipe servers when it’s completely necessary, or when a season ends and a new season begins.
We do not create fake reasons as others to force a full wipe only to get attention!
Player Resets
If you don’t like your planet or miss clicked you can type cb:reset in chat to remove yourself from the server and start new like your first join.

Playfield Wipe
A Playfield Wipe means you lose every structure or placed device (e.g. Water Generator) on it but structures outside of that playfield or your inventory are safe.
HWS has such wipes for Black Hole and Phoenix:
- On EU, Black Hole & Phoenix wipe daily with the next wipe occurring at May 4, 2018 3:00 PM
- On NA, Black Hole & Phoenix wipe daily with the next wipe occurring at May 4, 2018 9:00 PM
Terrain wipe
Terrain around / in your base will be untouched. So if you have an underground base, the terrain around that base will not get reset.
We are running these wipes on many Planets at different times.
NOTE: Auto Miners and other placeables will be wiped!

Deposit Wipe
That will regenerate every Deposit on a planet back to 100% and reset the terrain around that deposit.

POI Wipe
A POI Wipe will regenerate POIs back to its original state, no matter if someone claimed the POI with their own core or not (hence it’s not recommended to live in such POIs).

Personal Wipe
Personal Wipe Counter means that each player in the Starter System (planet + orbit) has 14 days for their spawned structures. Each player and each structure independently (personal).
Type cb:wipe in the game chat to see the upcoming wipe times!
It’s easy if you check your cb:wipe counter regularly (and of course only on the Starter Planets + their Orbits). It does not count for all the other playfields!
Important Server Settings

cb:reset
Players can cb:reset within the first 10 hours 1 time without a delay. After the first reset or after 10 hours of play, the cooldown increases to 24 hours. This prevents starter loot farming.

DecayTime: 6 hours
Player-built structures without a core or which have less than 10 blocks are removed.

WipeTime (Touch): 360 hours [15 days]
Player-built structures are removed when not visited / touched for more than 2 weeks. ‘Touched’ means the player that owns the structure stands ON or IN the vehicle or base. Accessing a structure via its Control Panel or docking to an untouched CV does not qualify. The amount of time since a structure was last touched is visible on HWS Connect in the Structure Commander.

Offline Protection Duration

ProtectDelay: 30 minutes
Half hour delay after a player logs off before Offline Protection becomes active.
